Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan will not be in the UK when Donald Trump visits the British royal family. This is the second time that Meghan has missed a meeting with the US president.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have been taking a break from their royal duties since mid-November. And they will not interrupt them for Donald Trump. At the reception, however, Harry and Meghan will not be present. The US side of the People magazine reports, "I think it's great." It's the second time that Meghan has replaced the US president. Already on Trump's first visit in early June, the Duchess whizzed a planned lunch in the palace. The 38-year-old was still babysitting after the birth of his son Archie on 6 May and did not make any official appointments. Prince Harry had participated. "In fact, he talked to Ivanka and my family for a long time, so I went to see him, and he could not have been friendlier, I think he's great," Trump said after the British New York show "Good Morning Britain." Duchess Meghan is currently taking a six-week break to spend time with Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, in the United States. Christmas will not be celebrated with the royal family, but in the USA.
